How does it work?
Heels is about feeling confident, grounded and strong in your own body. It’s not about perfection or performing for others, it’s about learning how to move with intention, awareness and ease. On heels, yes. But the confidence you build goes far beyond that.
This 8-week course is thoughtfully structured and builds step by step.
During the first three weeks, the focus is on technique: posture, balance, walking on music, clean lines, arm use and finding strength through your legs and hips. You’ll build a solid foundation and start feeling comfortable and secure in your movement.
From week four, we begin working towards a choreography. This is where musicality, dynamics and expression come in learning how to interpret movement and really own it.
Week eight is a performance class: supportive, low-pressure, and a moment to bring everything together.
The course is taught by Priscilla Serena, a performing dancer and teacher with a strong focus on technique, choreography and performance quality. Priscilla creates a safe and motivating learning environment, encouraging dancers to move with confidence, clarity and control, always with technique as the foundation.
WHO CAN JOIN THE COURSE?
We have two levels: beginners and intermediate. These levels are not about how good you are as a dancer, but more about where you feel comfortable and how you’d like to grow. Pick the level that feels best for you!
