HOW IT WORKS
Most dance schools teach a new choreography every week: you show up, dance, and move on.
At Danceout, we do things differently.
-

You train with the same group for 8 weeks, creating a real community.
-

You work on one choreography within those 8 weeks, step by step.
-

You learn about the culture, history, and technique behind the style.
-

Less mirrors, more feeling: we don’t focus on mirrors, so you focus on dancing instead of overthinking.
What we offer
We work in 8-week cycles with small groups. You dance with the same people toward one choreography, no big crowds, no random faces. Try a style for one round or become a member and keep going.
Miss a class? We share tutorials in our group chat, so you never fall behind.

While our next round of 8-week courses starts in early September, the summer is yours to explore. Drop in any Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday over 10 weeks — try different styles, meet different teachers, and figure out what you love before you commit to your next course. No obligations, just dancing under the sun.
-
At Danceout, we e want to focus on shared experiences with a consistent group. For this reason, you’ll only be able to do a trial class (€20) in Week 1 of each course cycle. If you end up signing up, we’ll deduct that from your subscription price. But hey, I can guarantee you’ll enjoy once you’re in!
-
Yes, you can! And we made sure you can absolutely catch up! We offer video tutorials of the choreo for the entire course. The videos are shot in a way that makes it easy for you to follow along at home, using a mirrored view so you know exactly what to do. So, even if you miss a class, you can practice in your own time and stay on track with the group.
-
Beginners: This class is perfect if you have little to no dance experience. If you find it intimidating to join a dance class at a regular dance school, don’t worry! This course is designed for people who want to start dancing again. We focus on making you feel comfortable and forming a close group. Everyone can join!
Intermediate: Do you have at least a year of experience with dance? This class is for you. You already have some basic knowledge and feel comfortable with a faster pace.
Advanced: This class is for experienced dancers who have been dancing for years. If you take multiple classes a week. You’ll train at a high level with a deep understanding of the moves.
-
Yes! This course is designed for beginners with no experience. We focus on creating a safe space where you’ll feel comfortable from day one. There’s no complicated footwork, just the basics and the right vibe to get you started. So no need to worry, you’ll feel right at home!
-
No problem at all! Our performance classes are all about tracking your own progress. We will never post your performance video online without your permission. What you do with the video is entirely up to you. If you prefer to keep it private, that’s totally fine! You have full control over it.
-
We always announce new courses on Instagram when they go live. But you can also sign up for our newsletter. This way, you’ll be the first to know about new courses, workshops, and bootcamps!
-
We don’t offer refunds because once you’ve booked, we start organizing the course and preparing everything for your spot. However, if you let us know at least two weeks before the course starts, we can offer you a credit to use for another course.
If it’s within two weeks of the start date, you can try to find someone to take your spot. Since our sessions are often sold out, there’s a good chance someone would love to join!
-
Yes, the professional group video is included in the course. If you’d like a solo or small group video, you can purchase it directly from the videographer for €10 per video. A professional dance video is normally valued at €100 per person, so this is a great way to capture your progress at a much lower cost.
-
From August to April, the courses are held indoors at our studio locations in West. From May to August, the courses take place outdoors at Bimhuis, and we also run a special summer schedule during these months.
